Locked Emoji

A locked (closed) padlock, used either in the real world to secure an object; or as a symbol of security or SSL certificate on the web.

This emoji does not show in the title bar of Safari, presumably to prevent less-reputable sites pretending to be secure (encrypted using HTTPS) when they are not.

Locked was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name “Lock” and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
